Pressing Past Pain to Persevere into Peace & Purpose
Out of adversity, Danielle found her desire to change. She spent 12 years in the Indiana foster care system in several placements. Aging out of foster care profoundly guided her career goals and life aspirations. Early in her career, she developed a passion for working with young women navigating life's challenges like family problems, unhealthy relationships, teen pregnancy, and infertility with limited healthy relationships and resources. In 2008, Danielle earned her Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Purdue University. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Human Services with a concentration in Leadership and Group Counseling from Purdue Global University. Danielle met an amazing little boy in 2012, who soon became her son through a beautiful chosen love story of adoption. Danielle has a passion for music, comedy, and dance. She served as a liturgical dance ministry leader and choreographer for nearly seven years. Yet even as a mother, professional, advocate, and ministry leader, her life has not been without battles of insecurity, domestic violence, depression, suicide attempts, anxiety, and toxic relationship dynamics. It wasn't until she found herself in the most humiliating and hurtful season that she realized what God had for her was more than just healing. God wanted her to be made WHOLE! Through spiritual coaching, therapy, and God's transformative process, even today. Danielle's passion remains to use her own personal and professional life experiences, education, and insight to be a BEACON of LIGHT to those who are lost, troubled, or broken.
